Hello dear friends. My 1000 liters tank encountering problem.. I used to have youngesters 5 hoplarchus year back. Then i saw they been growing different + have other guys so i have sold 3 of them thinking 2 probably will be a pair. I know it was a silly dessision... Anyway, for the past 2 weeks one of them doesnt live alone another one. I cant understand , or they both males, or females...They grown already , around 2 years. Last week he dammaged another babe sooo much , fins are almost destroyed. Today i decided to put babe in a 80 liters tank (have no other choice) just to heal her. I belive it is her, as anal holes are different... What else i can do ... Melafix ive been giving for 1 week, but because this bastard (i do believe it is him ) doesnt let her live her lifi, he is like a maniak... Tank with severums, nikaraguensis, carpintis, uaru (never been any issues) .What i did, i put her in separate tank to calm down + salt. SWhat else i can do ? I can attach pictures of how she looks right now (maybe it's him ) ? First picture, is the bastard , sekond-she was, third -as she now, 4th is him right now.. Please advise me , if i did a mistake separating her ( akvarium is small only 80 liters)

I agree with sbrady5pts. The first picture of the female looks like she is in spawning coloration. They were perhaps preparing to breed, but things didn't go as planned and there wasn't enough room for her to get a break from him. I would put her back in the tank and put the male in the isolation tank. Try re-introducing him in a few weeks when she has healed up.
