My two parrot fish look to be a pair as the smaller one has being eggs for last hour or two.

They were not bought as a pair so presumably not bred before.
The two fish have been fighting a bit recently but not to much dmage done :)

My poor Amp Lyonsi are stuck at one of the tank :(

the male is randomly snapping a bunch of eggs up, the females doing an ok job of stopping it, is it worth moving the male out of the tank? No idea if the eggs are fertilised yet

Congrats! I am not sure of your water parameters but here in Chicago with relatively hard water, I placed the eggs in a bucket of 8 parts distilled water to 2 parts tap. I added meth blue (with an airstone of course), and once the fry were swimming, moved to a 10g tank. I then did normal weekly 10-15% water changes with just tap. Works like a charm, where without the distilled, the eggs simply fungus and get eaten by the parents. Good luck.

I have to say, looking at the pics a little closer, the eggs look to be fungused already. My pair lay distinctively red colored eggs - your's do not appear red at all.

Yes, "eggs are good!" Good luck!!

Here are some pics of my pair:

most of the eegs looks to have been eaten by the male this morning, the female is still shimmying next to the male so hasnt given up i dont think lol! Considering the female is at least an inch smaller and a lot smaller build its done a fairly good job of inflicting damage on the larger male. Think once the lyonsi get big enough to go into my other tank i'll hook these up on a 24/7 water change system to see if that helps.

Never underestimate the wrath of mom, haha.

Congrats, these are not an easy species to spawn.
