Nice, you breedin them or where did you get some so small? Are they the Venezuelan or the Brazilian strain? Just curious cuz I've got the Brazilian strain, and thinkin of maybe gettin some Venezeulans to complete it. Awesome fish. Best of luck to yaz!
They are F1 Venezuelan they came with a group of adults that I got a few months ago. Hopefully i'll get the adults to spawn they are 9"- 12"+ What size are your Brazilians and how many do you have?
I used to have 4 Brazilians but i just sold one of them to a buddy of mine in Texas...lol. Long drive to say the least, but worth it. Anywho, I still have three of the gorgeous little buggas. They are my pride and joy! Woot! They are only about 5.5 to 6" right now, but growing quickly. I've got them all together in the same tank as well. I've been trying to find some larger Brazilian strains but they are hard to find, and expensive...lol. Did you get that adult pair of Venezuelans from Rapps?
I'm getting another 2 -10" pairs from jeff after the holiday. Keep me in mind and if you end up wanting to sell your 3 Brazilian let me know.
Probably won't want to sell all three of them cuz it took me a really long time to find this strain. But once and IF i get a pair outa them i will have one extra that i will probably sell...
