Nice pick up, and we may not be able to tell till a bit larger, apparently amapa don't turn jet black till around a foot I think,

Guys finally my aimara are stable and settle down in my tank... please help ID once again.. my aimara the body start to have reddish color and almost black.. i suspect it a amapa or tapajo variants..

Forget the vnz variant i mentioned. That's not it. Let it settle some more and get some bars and will see.

As far a wave maker. It's been debated to get it to monster size will need large space and flow. Don't forget time.
