Hoplias Australis

A couple people maybe. I can't remember who or if it's another species that I have confused. There have been a few threads about it though.
 
I have one.... Pretty quick grower (faster then Aimara anyways)

Haven't had any issues with tank mates.

Not sure on max size. Has a rounded head kind of like the smaller non Hoplias species of wolves.
 
I had one. 1.5" to13" in 6 months. Fairly care free. Loved tilapia and massivore so much he wouldn't chase feeders unless I haven't fed him in weeks..

Funny how that food makes them act. Hikari Massivore Pellets must have crack rock in it. My fish act the same way. Turn their nose up at other foods. That is some really amazing growth! That almost twice as fast as anything I've ever seen or heard of regarding Hoplias species. You have any photos of the fish as it grew? I'd love to see them. My Aimara Wolffish is growing at about 1" +/- per month so far. I'd really like to know what you're doing differently, if anything, to get that kind of growth from your Wolffish. Thanks
