Hoplias Lacerdae growth rate?

Hi, I am getting a 7" Hoplias Lacerdae in a few days and I am wondering if anyone has grown them from small to large and what there growth per month is like?

Post # 5 is "lucy". 6 years ago she was 6" She might be 20" now.....

so about 2" a year? Or do they get to a certain size then they slow down?

I'd imagine it depends a lot on the temp you keep them and the amount that you feed them.

Planning to give a winter cool down (if the fish is from Uruguay)?

I believe this Variant is from Uruguay and I'd be keeping it with my Brasiliensis dorados and some luciopimelodus so I can give it a cool down in the winter.

this is my 13" Hoplias lacerdae "uruguay" i got him at the end of last summer at 5"
