Hoplias Lacerdae ID

Hi Guys, I've read a lot on here on lacerdae ID but ironically I got even more confused haha. Could someone help me ID if this is a lacerdae? Planning to pick one up just wanted to have a definitve ID. Thank you.

Hard to tell with those pics. But I’d say not. It has 4 pores and that’s all I can see on the photos. Better pics would help.

Thank you. Here are some more pics, sorry about the light glare. Lacerdae has 6-8 pores? When I counted there were 6. Actually 8 if I include 2 very faint ones.

How about the V vs U shape under the jaw?

The fish has to be taken out of water and held upside down. Then the pores can be seen and the folds fall flat from gravity.

Hard to tell but looking at it and guessing it’s not lacardae. Likely intermedius.

I see five potentially 6 pores in this pic. But agreed better pics needed.

Would call that intermedius with that head shape.
