Hoplias sp. "prognatus"

Just picked him up from SA. He's not settled in yet but i was wondering if anyone knew what the correct name for them was? He's a little small to do a pore count. Looks like he was whacked in the head with a ball-peen hammer and his jaw lines don't meet like hoplias malabaricus. once he's more active I'll get more pics. Thanks guys

It was a pretty active wolf and a great eater. Mine was always swimming around would eat massivore pellets, it would feed right in front of me even during the day.
