does anyone know how big they get? i just caught one at my local lake about 10 inches long and people next to me have been fishing there for years. btw im gonna post pics of it soon on the fishing blog if anyones interested(not too soon tho). they said thats about as big as they get in our neck of the woods. does anyone think i could keep a baby one with a baby lmb and baby bluegill in a 46 gallon until they all outgrow it? id probably just give away the bass and bluegill but keep the cat in the 46. and please dont flame me saying that this should be in the bottom feeders forum because it is a native american fish even tho it is a bottom feeder. i thought ppl more familiar with this forum would know better. thanks for any help!

the brown bullhead i belive maxes out anywhere in between 14-18", and should be house in a 55 if not bigger when fully grown. yes you could keep a bullhead, bluegill, and lmb together in a 46 until they outgrow it
