Pic doesn't show for me on my iPhone what species? and they will start to go away when his swim bladder fully develops

Awesome endli. Def reminds me of a dragon. They are actually external gills/lungs to let them breath better. The babys have them. They will disappear when they get older. My weeksi still has a tiny external stub after 1.5 years though.
 
oh ok endli yeah for some of the larger species (although most CB endlis are relatively small compared to other lower jaws) they should go away once his swim bladder is developed
 
My 5 inch Delhezi is growing his back too. They were almost completely gone when I got him. Now they are getting noticeably larger. What gives? Did his swimming bladder just decided not to grow?

yeah it's kinda random. Also depends on water quality and such.
