Looks like I got some allergies. But I can't figure out whats causing it. I've never had allergies before. Maybe about a year ago was the first time I started to get them. At first I started to think I was allergic to my dogs. But I don't think so.

I think I am getting allergies now because of the weather change. But I have had allergies randomly before this. So I don't know what it is. It's to the point its really bad now. I start sneezing, and it goes on probably 10-15 times in a row. My eyes get red and watery, nose is runny, throat, eyes, nose all itch and burn. Whole face even itches sometimes too. After my eyes water, they feel dry and sore. And sometimes feel and look slightly swollen.

The worse part is when I am driving. Sometimes it can be a serious distraction if I start sneezing and eyes get watery. I can't get to a doctor any time soon. So I was thinking I can try and get some medicine from the store. Anyone else have allergies? What do you do about them?

with seasonal allergies what helps me tons is that sinus rinse by neil med or whatever. they sell it at walgreens. not the netti pot but by the same company. the nedi pot is just harder to use IMO. u put in this powder and fill with warm water and spray up both nostrils. it comes out the other side lol it sounds bad but its not the solution is soothing and it rinses whatever is bugging your nose out. id give it a try.

i hate nasal sprays and stuff but this stuff doesnt bother me like that. last year when they did the swine flu vaccine the younger people had to get nose spray. i asked for a shot instead but they wouldnt do it. this i dont mind at all. its more of a nasel flush. i do it twice a day if it gets bad but normally just once a day. id also recommend using two packets the first couple of times so it helps faster. just makes the water a bit more "salty"

I know all too well how you are feeling and it SUCKS! Allergies can develop as you age out of nowhere.

I have severe seasonal allergies. When I went to the allergist to have the skin test done, my whole back was one big welp, the nurses felt so bad for me. For those of you that dont know what a skin test is, they essentially make a grid on your back and then prick you with a little plastic needle that has an allergen on it (grass pollen, tree pollen, cat dander, etc) and if you are allergic to it, it swells up and itches like a mosquito bite. Depending on how big the welp is determines how allergic you are to it. The worst part is, it itches just like a mosquito bite and you cant scratch it until they are done...TORTURE!!

I use to live in one of the worst places in the country for allergies (Louisville, KY) and my move to the Gulf Coast was greatly influence by my allergies and non-stop sinus infections. My allergies are better here and my sinus are clear and free thanks to the salt air!

Get your self to an allergist for prescription medicine or perhaps shots. I would suggest you get a good nasal spray like Nasonex and a good eye drop like patonal for those sudden sever attacks as they offer fast relief.

I tried everything for my allergies for a couple of years. They got progressivley worse. I had such a cough at night I was losing sleep. Finally someone suggested accupuncture...it is truly like a miracle. I go 5-6 times in spring and 5-6 times in Fall. It is awesome.
Highly suggest if you licensed practitioners in your area that you give it a try.

I get terrible allergies if I don't eat local honey in late winter. The pollen in the honey somehow prepares your body for those specific local allergens and the reaction when they hit isn't half as bad. Sort of like an innoculation, I guess. I wouldn't mention it except that it actually works.

If you've got a pair, stinging nettle will reduce allergic symptoms in about 70% of the population. I rub it on the inside of my arms and it works for many hours. It only burns the first week you're using it. After that it just tickles or feels like nothing. And it's available all spring, summer and fall.

But before you resort to taking prescribed toxins, ask yourself which is worse: The allergies that will be gone in a week or two or the poison they give you that damages your organs forever?

i hope you feel better... also you can use a vaporizer if you really get clogged up.. once an allergy turns into a sinus infection you do need to see doctor for antibiotics
