In the spirit of Halloween I thought I'd try this one,post the overused scenes and ideas that you've all noticed in the films over the years.
I'll kick it off with the classic,doors slamming open and shut on their own and furniture sliding across the floor.

also cliché is the villain, thought to be dead, jumps up for one last scare

The little girl,or big girl who seems to know just how to defeat the seemingly unstoppable villain.

anyone who has sex ends up dying a gruesome death shortly after. sometimes during

people wondering off by themselves or separating regardless of the imminent danger that's out there

one thing I also absolutely hate is when someone risks their life to save a pet

....onward,the seemingly endless parade of sequels that get dumber and dumber with each new one that ensues if the first film even goes a nickel over breaking even.
