I plan on adding several horror movies to my Netflix and need some suggestions. I just saw insidious and enjoyed it. Some that I watch frequently are Night of the Living Dead, Poltergeist, and any of the Evil Dead trilogy. What else might I enjoy?

If you like the cheesy, campy horror movies then I've always likes the puppetmaster series. It's not scary at all, but good for a few laughs at the attempts to make marionettes scary.

Freddy Krueger movies, but the original ones.. from the 80's.. those movies used to scare the sh**! outta me as a kid.. I always thought his sharp fingernail was gonna come up from the bathtub drain and cut me... I didn't like bubble baths because of those movies either...

Friday the 13ths, all the Halloween movies check out Rob Zombies remakes, dawn of the dead, land of the dead, day of the dead, Hellraiser, event horizon and the list goes on lol

seen the shinning several times and once in the last 2 weeks, is their one besides the one with Nicholson? I've seen the puppet master movies but don't remember them, will definitely add to the list. Nightmare was fun, but prefer Friday the 13. Speaking of which did they ever explain how Jason Vorhees died as a 13 year old and came back around 6'2 & 225#?

The Rob Zombie movies are pretty good, House of 1000 Corpses and The Devils Rejects are both very well made.
I agree and own both of them.

I never heard of event horizon, will check it out. Seen most major releases prior to '97, after I turned 21 I stopped watching as many movies. Looking mostly for releases in the last 15 years a smaller productions that not everyone knows about.
