I recently bought a bulk reef supply ro unit, but the provided hoses were not long enough for my use. I was just wondering if this would work and be aquarium safe as an alternative to the 1/4" mur-lok ones. I don't mind buying the correct ones from brs, its just this one is prime so I get it faster.

oops forgot the link haha: http://www.amazon.com/Watts-XPEB-4-...064513&sr=8-3-fkmr2&keywords=mur-lok+1/4+tube

the watts tubing will do up to 140PSI at 70F, mur-loc looks like it does 230PSI at 70F...

in your position I'd check the specs on the RO unit and see if 140 is enough... or try it anyways if you're not afraid of a little water ;)

I didn't know about the pressure. Thank you for pointing it out! I ended up going with the mur-loc one just in case. My parents would freak if I flooded the house haha.
