Medway Me.
hey I just got one of those sihpon hoses that hooks to the sink (not the python but one like it) It used so I got it for $15! but it came with no instructions and I cant figure it out.:screwy:

I hooked it up, filled it compleatly with water, and then turned the water off and opend the valve. It started flowing the other way (to drain the tank) and it's working. But it has verry little suction, not enough to clean the tank and It will take two days to drain it at this rate! What did I do wrong? Is 50 ft. simply too long? HELP Please!!!

First of all you leave the water running to aid in the suction.:)
And secondly the 50ft hose does lose some suction but keep the water running to make it flow.

ok I tried that with the water running still no suction!:swear: uhh I hate this thing!

There are two I am familiar with that are the "python" style. One is the Lee's type, which operates in the same way, and the other is the new aqueon type. Is the part that attaches to the sink a green blue or gray unit?

its blue, about half the tube is blue and half is clear. I have no idea of the brand it does'nt say
(It didnt come in a box!)
