i am looking to get more fish for my tank. so i want to start a hospital tank. what should i do to make sure the fish are healthy enough to go in to my major tank. i read a lot from google but i don't want to mess up again so i thought you guys could tell me what i should do. thank you:nilly:;)

All great ideas, but if you wanted to go a route with no medication do an Epsom salt food soak with a food like nls that has garlic in it and feed em with that for 3-5 days (1 tablespoon to every 500ml, then drip on food until soaked, but not submerged) and that will flush their system from most of the common internals, then around four to six weeks later they should be ready to go assuming no issues arise. Just a safer and less harmful but very effective for new fish in quarantine.

will prazi pro take care of ick too??

i've found that the best way to treat ick is to turn the heat up to 88 and do frequent water changes for about a week or two. the ick can't live at the higher temps, and the higher temps speed up the ick life cycle. the water changes will get rid of all the spores as well
