Do you keep your hospital tank cycled? If so how?

If I need a hospital tank, I take water, filter media, and sometimes gravel from the main tank to fill the hospital tank. If the fish is already sick, it dosen't need the shock of moving to a new setup with all different params. When the fish is well again, I boil the media before putting it back in the main tank's filter. I throw the gravel out(if used).

No, but I do keep an extra HOB filter running that I can just put on the smaller hospital tank. It is not much extra trouble or expense to run an appropriately sized Aquaclear (or similar filter) on a main tank, this keeps the filter cycled and ready for use without having to maintain a full but fishless tank.

Ya, I keep an extra filter running on my 55 so if I need to start a hospital tank i just move that filter over.

I just keep a sponge filter cycled in my sump or another tank.
