Most hot glues that aren't water soluble are ok.

Did you think about using silicone and taping them it place till it cures?

I was told not to use silicone, because it wouldn't hold the marble to the plastic.

I can get a tube and try it.

I have a picture in my head as to what the cave wall will look like, if I can just get the marble to stick to the plastic :(

I could just use large rock and slate, but I am trying to lessen the weight on the back of the tank

What 'plastic' are you sticking it to?

Many members have stuck rocks to PVC pipw with silicone (including myself)

plastic floor pots

I sanded them, so I hope the marble sticks.

I bought a tube of GE silicone I, so I will give it a try

if you sanded it... you should not have any issues.. unless you are trying to use really really really big rocks...

If it's ABS plastic, good luck getting anything to stick to it. I don't think a glue exists that will stick to that stuff.
