Anyone here fish around the Denver area? I know alot of places are too hot for the fishing to be any good, but I was wondering if any of you have found a place to catch some fish? Ill share some spots w/ you too in return.

i do most of my fishing in boulder and some in the mountains but i can let you know about lafarge in boulder if you drive in threw the gate and go till the end there are a few gravel pits that have really set up well not sure how long they have been there but theres some big fish in there very weedy in the summer so the best fishing is in the spring befor all the plants grow back but still great bass fishing and tons of sunfish there's also a little river back behind the lakes that i've seen rainbow trout in but never cought one theres alot of lakes by there and most are eazy to get to two you can just drive right up to another is privet property but i don't know how good the fishing in there is the lake right next to it has plenty of fish
P.S the biggest fish i've pulled out of there was a 17'' large mouth but i've seen fish in there that were much bigger only a matter of time till i catch one

i live in colorado springs but i usually try to stay away from the denver area. i do most of my fishing in the arkansas, south plate, San Wan, Rio grande and other assorted rivers. I also fish in lakes and ponds whenever i find one. And i lure and fly fish
