looking for some info i just set up my new 450 gallon tank. For filtration i have one sump wet dry and 2 FX5 filters at first i thought heating the tank would be a problem so i put two of the best heaters in the sump and in a surprizing 2 days the tempature rose to 84 degrees and now i turned off both heaters and it wont drop a bit it seems like the mag drive 3600 pump is giving off a lot of heat and is very loud im not fermilar with this pump is this typical? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

is it exposed at any point? sucking air makes a lot of noise.

I have a mag drive 1800 and you cant tell if its on or off, it makes no noise. I never imagined the 3600 being loud, I would call the manufacture to ask <perhaps something is wrong with you unit.

They can be loud.. I have a mag24 and I have some shipping foam sheets under it Not much sound anymore

Whats wrong with 84 degrees anyway
