well i have been thinking about dif ways to make a tank and came up with a hot tub. i figure i could use the existing plumbing to set op filtration but i was worried about the chems. i rathert not buy a new tub so is their a way i could clean a old one? my last real concern is that i wont be able to see them. anyways figured if i do it ill do at least an 8 man tub if not 12, any ideas welcom. thanks.

i realy want to house some large 3'-5' fish, so i guess the tub isnt realy a good idea, i wont be happy with it anyway. in about 2 months i will be moving to a house and want a large tank. my only problem is i will be renting for probably 6mos - 1yr befor i get into a rent to own type situation. so i cant go too huge with the tank probably 700gal or less, so what do you think? also when i move i would like to build/have built a large several thousand gal tank, so the fish will have to be moved in about 1yr.
i want to do it rite and money not much of an obstical so any input on tank/rare large fish is helpfull thanks. also if anyone knows how much that guy who built the 50,000gal tank spent i would like to know.
