Very high in fat, but these fish are garbage cans. I say give him fish food. Hikari Carnivore.

One of the most difficult water parameters to stay ahead of, when keeping RTCs, is nitrates. Hotdogs, and other processed meats, are loaded with nitrates.

Stay away from feeding your fish improper foods. If you can't afford the correct diet for any fish then don't keep those fish until you can maintain it properly in all aspects (tank size, diet, supplements, filtration, etc).

If you must feed something from the grocery store, try tilapia fillets, catfish nuggets, trout, roughy, raw shell-on shrimp (and other shellfish), squid, vegetables, fruits, etc. Just avoid processed foods.
