is it safe to put a juvie leopard gecko with a house gecko(they would be about the same size) if its just temperary?
its never a good idea to mix herps, escpecially from diff habitats... IDK that much about house geckos but if they are from a rainforest, then thats a definite no nocatfish hippy man (dylan);2303588; said:no. lepard geckos are from semi deserts and house geckos (eventhough they now have a global distrubution) are from south east asian rainforest, compleately different habitats.
But they have expanded their ranges so much that they now also live in tropical areas. Of corse many species in that genus are true rain forest species
