Anyone know what this plant is called? Was going to buy one from Home Depot for $5.

we call it mother in laws tongue here, not sure what it's known as in USA. Rip off btw, that deal is. they're a clumping plant and you can separate em. $5 is a much better amount than the 35 the listing offers.

Wow, that's oddly familiar. I have one of these before when I used to like gardening. $35 is definitely a ripoff though. It's way cheaper than that.

Yep, we call it that too or Snake Plant (aka Sansevieria trifasciata).

We call it the cow's tongue here and I've had one before with leaves that were almost two feet long.

I have one, they are very slow growing. I also hardly ever water the thing, so that may contribute to the slow growth. $35 is ridiculous, I think I payed like $10 for mine.

You pretty much have to TRY to kill this species.

I have a suggestion for your tree frog tank. take a look at this

see the vines growing every where in the guppy tank I love this plant impossible to kill does well submerged or above water. even my dad can care for this plant. you get one trimming and boom it just explodes everywhere. I had fire belly toads once my first pets ahhh and ther tank was loaded with this stuff it it thrived in that tank
