What I would do is take all of the P's you own now out of the tank when the time comes, and leave them in a container/bucket for a while.

Rearange your entire tank, and reintroduce your P's and the new ones all at the same time.

That is what I would do.

the only other thing i have that would hold enough water would be my 29g.its the biggest i have>

plz im getting them in the morning

welli receuved my 3 new p's, everyone seems 2 be getting along. i recieved them in a cooler so it wasn't to bad i just took some water out of the cooler and replaced it with water from my tank. once i had the same tempretures i moved my tank decorations around to disorientate my 4 piranhas that were in there previously, i then added my new three p's. every thing has gone well so far, its been 3 days and no chasing or anything its like they were all raised together.
thanx anyway.

There are a couple of things that you must do in order to 100% successfully introduce new fish to a shol.
1) Acclimate the new fish to your tank as much as possible by getting them usto the ph, water quality, temperature etc.. by taking a seven gallon bucket of water and putting the fish in while you do a complete water change to the tank.
2) Change the set-up of the tank. break down the established territories so they don't fight for them.
3) Once you have done a complete water change to the tank and create new boundaries /territories have an aboundance of food ... give them more feeders than you can imagine. It is importent to keep a surplus of food in the tank for a month or so to make sure they know who the prey is.
