How About Those Green Spotted Puffers.

Ok so i have recently purchased some gsp's which are in my brakish setup 45g with a 2-3 inch moray.By the way the tank is barebottem, so what substrate should i use and should i put a lot of plants in it or not.

Real plants v.s fake plants : and there pro's and Cons.

I would say go with some sand and mangrove roots, personally.

From my experience java fern tolerates salt well.

Petsmart makes very cool fake mangrove roots which look great in a BW tank & give the puffers lots of swim throughs:

There won't be any BW plants that can survive the transition from mid BW-SW that the fish you have will be going though.
