How aggresive are rainbowsharks to each other. I have a small normal rainbow and a small albino rainbow. They don't seem to bother each other, let alone notice. When they get bigger will I need to seperate them from each other?

Most likely yes. One will become dominant and become more colorful while the other fades and hides.

How long have you had them together? They usually are pretty aggressive with each other.

About 1 month maybe. The person at petsmart where I got them said they'd be fine, which I am pretty mad about. Is the Non-albino one more likely to become the dominent? I am currently planning to put one in a rubbermaid bin pond (when I make one, which I need to do soon if they get aggresive). I have pictures in them in my profile albulms if you want to see them. It is in the some of my fish albulm.

No, the type is not indicative of the aggression level.

These 'sharks' tend to pick a cave or log, or some dwelling place, and protect it to their fullest ability. If you offer a significant amount of caves and crevices along the bottom of a large tank, it will help subside aggression between a small population.

OK, just because you said a colorful one would be more important.

What I meant was that the aggressor will become more colorful and any others will get dull. See it at work all the time. One will get brighter and larger than the rest, chasing them all the time. Sell that one off and the next in line becomes the alpha fish.

My brother also has two of the same kind. One of his gaurds a cave and I'll see just aout nothing else in there with him, except the peaceful Hi fin banded shark.

Yeah I know. If the albino takes over, how will he get brighter?
