My lfs just got a 4 inch texas in as a trade in, I wanted to purchase it but I wanted to first know how agressive are they? He would be going in a tank with a 10inch clown knife, 8 inch pacu, 11inch oscar, and a 6inch green severum, would it do ok in my tank? thanks in advance

-John

also if it makes a difference he grew up with another texas and 4 jack dempseys (all traded in at the same time)

i have two carpintis with a bunch of other ca/sa cichlids. they are calm as can be. every now and then theyll chase another fish around, but its nothing serious

by texas, do you mean cyanos?

im not shure, its the one most commonly sold as "texas cichlid"

yeah cyano from what ive seen are pretty average, but the carpintis i have is super aggro

ive had both still the cyano type and i dont think there should be any problems but once in awile you can get a mean one not usually.

ill probably pick him up in a few days (going on a trip tomarrow and dont want to introduce new fish when I cant watch them) Thanks for all the help!!!
