How am I supposed to use these?

So I got some stuff with a tank I bought, and I don't know what its for. I know its for air hoses but...just look at the pics.

I know the top left items are elbows and I guess that makes my airline not bend when it gets to the bottom so that's nice, but what the heck are the other things for? Like this?

It allows you to control the amount of air going to an air stone. Loosen it all the way and the air will flow freely. Screw it down and it lessens the air flow.

the top left elbows which are called double T's are for distributing multiple lines of air hoses... depends if you want several connections.. usually used in fish rooms or rack setups... but if you are using that u will need a powerful air pump or else you can use the air adjuster from the second pic to control the flow...
