I'm curious what take people are using to mount power heads, and wave makers inside plywood tanks?
Especially with the new wave makers using the magnets, which won't reach through 3/4 plywood.

I was thinking of sticking to suction cup ones and maybe just gluing a piece of glass on the inside of the plywood. wouldn't need to be thick. Or is there a better option?

Thanks

Yes I saw joey do this, would work for the external drive magnetic pumps.
but it also takes up a good bit of the corner unless you have a very large tank.

Which is why I'm thinking suctions on a glued in piece of acrylic, but wondering if there's a different option, maybe someone has a clamp option?

I actually emailed ecotech and they suggested going on size larger than the pump you need for plywood. So the MP40 will fit 3/4inch glass, so ecotech suggested using this on 1/2 plywood. I've been using the MP60 on my 3/4inch plywood and it runs like a champ. No issues. Highly recommend the MP60 on plywood tanks.
