I want some for my 55g with good water quality and a high turnover rate, would they be fine with a pleco at the bottom? I only want 3-4 tops. thanks

they should be ok i dink.. i have cichlids and a candy pleco with them.. and i have 9 CL =) .. they are pretty cool.. =) but are very sensitive to water condition and some medicine with copper, if i recall the right info
Fishaddict, which question are we supposed to answer? The thread title is very different from the content here.
1. Clown loaches with ich must be treated immediately. Salt and heat will work just fine.
2. They're fine with plecos but it depends which species of plecos you have. I hope your pleco is not anything that will eventually outgrow the 55g. Both loaches and pleco need plenty of space.

Sorry I was unclear. I wanted to know how prone they were to ich. Anyway I decided against them so don't lose any sleep ove it lol
