a rtc or a shovel nose rtc currently got a 5x2x2 with 8x4x2 in the wings.will it b ok with a silver

umm the 8x4x2 might be good for a while but you will need bigger eventually.

personally i'd do this just for comfort of the fish... but i'd go 12x5 or maybe 12x6
RTC would be comfortable in a 8x4 for a long time but would need to be alone as it got bigger and in years to come would need a larger tank! 2' width would last a year if you're lucky!
Yeah I just ment for the min as being aable to turn etc lol but your defintley right the more room the better !
