to keep an O and a trinidad pleco together for life?

Whatever the recommendation for an O would be the min. Trinidads don't get HUGE, they will do fine in anything with an 18" width.

so a 75G is fine?

As long as you are willing to do WC's very often. Trinidads get big fast, and so do oscars. Both put out a lot of poo. A 75 would work, but that is about the absolute minimum.

hmmmm.... just how often? weekly? i think i'll just get a 100G... I don't like keeping fish in "bare minimum" tanks.

I consider a 75 bare minimum for an Oscar. I think a 60x18 or 48x24 would be a better choice. 18 inches of width is cramped in my view for a 12-16" fish. Sort of like a hallway only as wide as a door.

A 120 would be an awesome choice :) And the possibilities are endless with just a couple fish :) Driftwood and some dense floating palnts :D dun dun .. dun dun.. dun dun. dun dun da da da!!

but thats just my personal opinion..

Hey if you have the money and the room, why have a smaller aquarium? Go bigger if you can, that way you have more options!

I think I've seen this post before. Didn't you post the same thing on AC when you first joined? Then you went on about how you just got the tank, and eventualy the truth came out that you were lying about everything! Why must you waste everyones time with your childish ways?
