How big are pups when first born?

I have a motoro pup..... Not sure how old.. 4-5 inch disc. For you more experienced Ray aquaiersts , how many weeks does it take to get this big?

Is it captive bred or wild caught? At 4-5", it could be a couple of months old

I'm not sure...he was the only one. Would seem more like wild caught. Would seem like there would be a litter if captive bred. I could be wrong. Seems very calm

Size varies a lot. I've seen as small as 3" and as large as 6" when born.
