hi, i live in a apt 3rd floor ...is all concrete...my tank is a 180 class fish tank, and i want to upgrade to big acrylic tank...but i dont know how big could it be..does anyone of you guys have big tanks in a apartment ?

I have a 180 in mine but I'm first story. Couldn't imagine carrying my 180 up 3 flights of stairs let alone a bigger tank

Hello; There have been several threads on the capacity of a floor to hold tank weight on this forum in the last few weeks. It is not a simple thing to determine. I suggest that you do a search to check some of them out. One thing I recall from reading them is that the cement floors in apartments is not necessarily of a structrualy strong grade. Some may be a relatively thin layer that is not any stronger than an ordinary wood floor. If you can not find them, I may be able to find the titles of some.

yeah i know is very heavy ....i carry mine with my brother only me and him...180 g with a 1" class...very heavy..but i live on a nice project so we use the elevator, we stand up the tank.

Management might b able to tell you better, careful though a lot of places don't allow even your 180

Well first off you are going to be limited by the door and maybe any hall ways or stair cases/elevators leading to your apartmrnt.
