How big can EBJD's really get?

I've read the guideline sizes, but mine has been consistently growing at an impressive rate since I bought him 9 months ago. It seems hard to believe he would suddenly stop before crossing the 6inch mark considering he's already 5.5"

Opinions?

Here is mine at about 4+ years old and 8+ inches. He is a brute, but i think he's done growing. He hasn't gotten longer in the last year, but he may have put on some girth.
