How big can I expect my petsmart midas/red devil to get?

Right now, he's 5 years old, 12 1/2 - 13 inches, really thick with a really nice kok (nuchal hunp).

What else can I expect? More thickness? More vertical growth? Any chance at more horizontal growth, i.e. length?

Thoughts?
 
He is pretty much full grown. He might grow a bit more. I would say more thickness, depending on tank size and what you feeding him. I would love to see a pic of him.
 
yeah he's probably about full grown. might grow a little bit more but it will be very slowly. will probably put on a little more girth too. :)
 
At 5 years old, he's considered "full-grown" but will grow a very small amount every year, maybe about 1/8 of an inch each year. I bet he's gorgeous, please share pictures!
 
I would say probably full grown. He will put on a little girth but as stated in this post--slowly. I bought a midas from petsmart about 1 year ago--maybe a little over a year he's 10" + and thick. Here's a pic of mine.

i can't even lol that... if anyone puts a 10" fish in a 29 gallon... thats just cruelty to animals!!
