I have two, recent acquisitions but I'm head over heels already, and I'm wondering..... how big can I expect them to get? They're going into a 46 gallon, so I'm not worried about them outgrowing the tank. Just planning ahead. ;)

Thanks!

Most regular blood parrot get up to 7 to 9 inch long but they are slow growers. However some strains of parrot can get up to more than 12"...I bet you have regular blood parrots.

Thank you for your input.

And actually, the BPs I have are the most unique, rare, special, incredibly personable, beautiful BPs in existence..... I'm fairly certain no one else on earth has the same type I do..... :hearts:

The one in your avatar picture? It looks like just regular blood parrot. What it makes you think you have rare special blood parrots? lets post the pictures of your blood parrot.

I thinks he's trying to say that his bp's are special to him, lol

Bingo! ;)

Yeah, I'm sure mine are ahem common.... but to me they're incredibly special. :headbang2

Will post pics as soon as Buster comes out of hiding. He's still pretty shy. And it's hard to get a clear pic of the darker one, as he likes being around the driftwood and blends in. Will do my best to have pics loaded soon.

I could actually handle it if they stayed about the size they are now. That's fine with me. Thanks for your input!
