how big do florida gars get?

Hey guys, iv been wanting to add a florida gar to my main display tank. I just want to know the average size they reach in aquariums, I currently have a 120gal but will be upgrading soon as the current inhabitants will need more room in a few months time. Any ideas on max size or possible growth rate?

you're in the wrong section but i've seen them 16-18 inches but they get bigger. whatta ya got in the tank right now?

Apologies for wrong section, and the only thing in the tank right now is a 17" rck, and iv always loved gars since I caught one at the cottage as a kid.

they can get 3 feet or bigger usaully in aquariums around 2 feet
