how big do gold nuggets get?

hmm 8 or so inches. normally stays less than 10inches

i seen them in Brazil at 12", monsters they where. If you are planning on buying them small and grwing them on they will take years to get to that size.

Instead of the lima i would get a tiger they grow much larger and would look amazing in you tank. I have a lima thats about 12in and ive read that they dont get much bigger than 24in and the tigers get around 48in. As for the pleco i have a scarlet one and the colors on him are amazing. I def like it better than the gold nugget plus like muske said GO BIG lol.

If you plan on putting a juvie in with those soon to be monsters you will have to put the GN in by himself for about 3 years and then start adding some of those beasts...
