How big do Marble Gars Get?

it's a type of tetra/characin.

Try to post some pics and we can ID it. 9 times out of 10, if it was called a marble gar then it prob was the Characin. Only pics could tell. If the fish was darker or lighter it could of just been the mood of the fish. But if it looked diff than the pic, then it might have been a diff fish
