How big do sun cats get?

I just bought a suncat and i know they dont get huge but i was wondering if they would be good in a 60g or better off in a 90?

I think they can get around 9 inches. They're apparently really dirty though, so the bigger, the better.

yeah ive heard about 12 inches i doubt that big probably like 8 or 9 it will be fine in your tank and i have to disagree my friend has one and im fishsitting it right now and he keeps my tank spotless cleans up after all the other fish he eats all of it!

The one i got is like 6-7" and took over my king plecos hideout. Looks awesome except for burn mark he has but i still like him/her.

oh okay yeah he or she will probably grow a few more inches how much did you pay if you dont mind me asking im interested in getting one myself but can never find any that size

Suncats in the wild have been known to grow in excess of two feet. Very few get that big in captivity.
