How big do Synodontis eupterus get?

I have one of these little guys and it's growing like a weed. Has gone from 2" to 5" in only 2 1/2 months. I was wondering, how big do they get? Google searches say as little as 5", and as big as a foot. I also saw a photo of one that looked massive.

About 9". Of coarse there will be exceptions that will get bigger.

between 7-9 inches is average adult size. Thats what mine, eventually grew to once they matured.
