I have a 1 yr old Silver Arawanna and it is already 15" long. Do they grow to the size of the tank like most fish or do they just keep growing and growing and growing and growing....?

keep growing

NO fish grows to the size of the tank, it all depends on how you take care of the tank. The cleaner the water and the more water changes, the more growth.

I would never assume they grow to the size of the tank. My uncle (uneducated in aquariums) kept 3 fantail moors and a common pleco in a five gallon tank since they were tiny. The next time I visited, they had no room to move and I had to kidnap them and put them in a bigger tank for him.

Troll.

he will grow to around 2-3 feet, you will need at least a 180 gallon tank and thats bare minimum. thats why i bought a jardini, they dont get quite as big as silvers.

like said it will grow but not as fast
