How big is my Midas?

I'm bad at eye balling sizes, and don't want to net this guy to measure him. How big to you think he is? The pic was taken in a 55 gallon tank. I believe a 55 gal tank is 18" deep, so I'm guessing he is 8".

a standard 55 gallon is 13" deep.

55 gallon = 12 inches wide, so yes, your fish is around 7-8", may be 9" counting the tail.
