I got a lungy about 4~5 years ago, approx 6 or 7 inches.. just a lil guy.
Grew him to about 18" in a year. Downsized, donated him to a family i knew with a large fish tank.
I warned them it would be the only fish left within a month or two but they insisted they wanted him.
soon their well stocked community tank was host to only one fat lungfish..
Kind of a shame really they had a good breeding colony of blue crayfish, but the lungfish ate them all.
Anyways recently speaking with them, asked them to measure the lungfish.
Comes in at a whopping 32 inches!
