My Flowerhorn pair are starting to take control of the 100g

I am going to keep my Green Terror and Plec with them for the time being in a separated section.

How big will i need for this stocking long term? (all are juvis right now) will another 100g do the job? i have a nice space for one in my dining room.

The stocking needing a tank

2 x Rotkeil Severum (pair)
1 x Female Firemouth
2 x Female Jack Dempsey
2 x Blood Parrot
1 x Texas

I think 100 gallon would be ok for a while, but maybe something more towards 180 would suite your needs. Just my opinion...

I really need to stop buying fish lol.

i will probably offload a few of them, what out of my stock would fit a 100g? because i'm limited on space sadly, its going to have to be a 100g tall and long, rather than deep

i think a 125 would be alright, you would just have to make sure to keep up on water changes, and i would move that poor GT as well, he will be dead once those FH grow a bit more or breed, usually FH cant be kept with tankmates at all once mature

also i would get rid of one of the female dempseys

Yeah I dont think its even worth the attempt to keep a pair of FH's in a community setting.

2 x Rotkeil Severum (pair)
1 x Female Firemouth
2 x Female Jack Dempsey
2 x Blood Parrot
1 x Texas
Is really pushing it for a 100gal. escpeically when breeding presents itself. Id suggest giving the FH's a 75gal+ to themselves.

Then another 100gal for sev pair, firemouth, and 2 jacks, and 1 BP.

In my 80 I have all males. 1 Dempsey, 1 Fenestratus, and a blackbelt here soon and I think thats even pushing it for my tank size. I like to keep things safe rather than the fish having to eliminate each other. Good luck.
* I think your problem is you have too many Agro fish, and not enough tanks.

The Flowerhorns have a 100g all to themselves, they are only 3" so looking for another tank for the rest :)

Thats what i wanted to hear :)

I want to breed the Texas and Parrots with the Flowerhorns at some point, and the Texas is to beautiful to let go :)

So will probably keep the Sevs, Firemouth and Parrots with the Texas in a separator. and offload the Jacks because they haven't really grown on me like the rest have.

Then the Flowerhorns and Green Terror (in a separator) in the other tank

Sounds like a plannage :)

I was thinking of changing up the second tank again when i get it...i thought of a amazing colourful plan :P lol

How about this for a 100g

Gold Efaciatus Sev
my 2 Blood Parrots
