Silver Arowana, 8 polypterus, 2 Scomb Payara, Red Devil, Green Terror, Flowerhorn. I was thinking that 96x36x30 would be enough room for everyone to get along, but I have no clue. How many gallons is that anyway? Would my Red Devil kill everything no matter how much room he has?

That is a start, but I would personally go even bigger. Red Devils seem to be hit and miss as far as aggression towards others. I've had several do well in group set ups similar to what you are asking about.

I found a 2200gal for $2000

A 450 gal should be finefor the fish you have in mind.

WHOA!! Pics please...

Key imo is growing the rd/midas and fh with other tank mates but in that big of a tank you'll probably notice some chasing but no killing. You're gonna think that tank is empty though with that large and just those fish.

Some people say large mean cichlids actually go crazy in smaller tanks thats why they're so mean and act so different in larger tanks. And I kinda believe that in a way.

Perfect example of big "mean" cichlids getting along fine in huge tanks is the manatee tank at Lowry Park Zoo here in Tampa. They have a mix of about 400 RD/ Midas with the same number of festae and oscars and I've watched that tank for almost an hour straight before and never saw a single bit of aggression. Now, bear in mind this is a 150 foot + tank. Can't even begin to guess the volume of it.

sounds good
