How big of group for IT's?

I am starting to accumulate some IT's, for some reason I hadnt seen any for the 2-3 years i have been keeping fish, then all of a sudden, I have found a bunch.

I was just wondering how many is a good size for a group? right now i can get my hands on about 3, and trying to find some more. THe ones i am picking up are currently all under 2.5" so I am starting small and growing them out together so they can grow up together. They will be in with a bunch of clown loaches, and a few green severums that are also growing out with them. In the next few years I hope to get a 180g so I am hoping size will not be an issue
 
i have 3 NTTs and they're cool. If i only had DATs in my tank i'd have 7.
 
5 to 7 is a good group size. Of course you need the tank space but they grow very slow. I have 10 2"ers in a 180 and they seem happy. Not too much bickering
 
5-7 is actually very good..

silver datnoid you can farm them they will get along with no aggression.
 
i have 7 It in my main tank 1 10incher 2 7-8 incher 4 5-6 incher 1 8.5 incher NGT. they're active swimmers.. keep them in large tank and they'll grow fast. well it depends on your tank
