how big should my aquarium be?

how big should my aquarium be for having 1 jardinni arowana, 3 thin bar datnoids, 5 ornate bichir, 2 tigrinus catfish and 1-12 inch pleco? i kinda want to just buy a tank that can hold them until they all grown big and not thinking of changing the tank again to a bigger one.

You'll eventually need at least at 6' long and 2' wide tank. You'll want your tank to be as wide as your longest fish would be. Your Jardini probably should get it's own tank unless you want to gamble the health or lives of your other fishes.

i would think that you would need at least a180. ive never kept any of those monsters YET becouse i dont have a 180 or bigger. 1 maybe a 240 would be better.

man, all of those fish is going to require some space. personally i would go for atleast 300

As big as you can feasibly afford. I'd go for 300+. Don't make the mistake of only planning for fish you have now. You WILL want to add more.

i think... i need to lessen it then.. i'll take 1 jardinni, 5 bichirs, 3 datnoids only then... i'm on the look only for a 180 max to 240 gal aquarium.. if the jardinni would be a trouble.. i'll get a 125 gal for him alone. 180 to 240 gal tank is another $300 easy... on the bill. need to do some damage control on my wallet here..
